Chalcopyrite and Calcite on Pyrite

Several clusters of twinned chalcopyrite (largest is 2.5 cm) on a sparkling pyrite matrix with a few white calcites. A really stunning piece -- very different!

Siderite

Description:
Brown, lenticular blades of siderite with a few black crystals interspersed.

Sphalerite on Barite
4.5 x 4.5 cm. Peru PR0597 $60

Description:
Euhedral, reddish sphalerite perched on white barite. The sphalerites look like spessartine from China.

Rhodochrosite

A garland of bright-red, bladed rhodo crystals on top of a black sulfide matrix. Wonderful color and constrast. Sits up beautifully.

Rhodochrosite on Quartz

A cluster of terminated quartz crystals partly covered on one side with small hemispheres of beige-pink rhodochrosite. The other side is nearly completely covered.

Manganocalcite on Sphalerite
